Description

The Luxeon Wide is a 560mm linear track light with an integrated 13W LED module running at 3000K, mounted in a black aluminium housing. The fitting clips into Ego profile track rail and can be positioned anywhere along the track run, making it suitable for galleries, retail displays, and residential accent lighting where light needs to be directed onto specific objects or surfaces.

Designed for three-circuit track systems, the Luxeon Wide provides directional light along a narrow beam, typically used to highlight artwork, shelving, product displays or architectural features. The 22mm projection from the track keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane, maintaining a low-profile appearance in rooms with standard ceiling heights. The black finish recedes visually against dark ceilings and track rail, keeping attention on the illuminated surfaces rather than the fitting itself.

The integrated LED is dimmable, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted from full output down to a low glow depending on the dimmer used. The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range, rendering neutral tones without the amber cast of 2700K or the cooler appearance of 4000K. The aluminium housing acts as a passive heatsink, dissipating LED heat without requiring a fan or active cooling.

The Luxeon Wide is designed for Ego profile three-circuit track systems. It will not fit standard single-circuit domestic track rail. Check the track profile specification before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED module is integrated into the housing and cannot be replaced by the end user. The LED is rated for 50,000 hours of typical use, which equates to approximately 17 years at 8 hours per day.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the fitting has no protection against moisture ingress. It is intended for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or areas exposed to condensation.

What dimmer types are compatible?

The Luxeon Wide requires a trailing-edge or TRIAC dimmer designed for LED loads. Leading-edge dimmers may cause flickering or early failure. Consult the dimmer manufacturer's compatibility list or contact us before pairing with a specific dimmer model.
