Description

The Luxeon Wide is a 560mm magnetic track light with an integrated 13W LED module casting 3000K warm white light through a wide-angle lens. The fitting clips magnetically onto Ego profile track systems without tools, allowing repositioning along the track length as lighting needs change. The 1-10V dimming protocol provides smooth brightness control when paired with a compatible dimmer and low-voltage control circuit.

Designed for residential, retail and hospitality interiors where accent or display lighting needs to be adjusted seasonally or as layouts evolve, the Luxeon Wide combines directional LED output with the flexibility of a magnetic track system. The 560mm length delivers a linear wash of light across wall displays, artwork runs, or product shelving, whilst the IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulb replacement, with the 13W output providing task-level illumination without the heat load of halogen equivalents.

The white powder-coated aluminium body gives a minimal profile that recedes into white ceilings and track systems, whilst the magnetic base provides a secure hold on the track without visible fixings. The 22mm projection and 25mm height keep the fitting tight to the ceiling plane, suiting spaces with lower ceiling heights or where a discreet lighting presence is preferred. The Luxeon Wide clips magnetically onto Ego profile track systems. It is not compatible with standard 3-circuit track or other magnetic track profiles — confirm your track type before ordering.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure, and the expected lifespan of the module typically exceeds 30,000 hours under normal use.

How is the 1-10V dimming controlled?

1-10V dimming requires a separate low-voltage control circuit and a compatible 1-10V dimmer. This is distinct from mains-voltage dimming — the control signal runs on a separate pair of wires from the mains supply. Consult an electrician if you are unfamiliar with 1-10V systems.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with steam exposure, or any area where moisture is present.
