Description

The Luxeon main power connector is a 95mm polycarbonate feed unit that brings mains power into Ideal Lux track lighting systems. The connector sits at the start of a track run and houses the electrical termination point where the mains cable from the ceiling void meets the track's internal conductors. The black finish matches Ideal Lux's black track profiles.

Designed for commercial retail, hospitality and residential track installations, the connector clips onto the end of a Luxeon track section and provides the entry point for wiring. Once the mains cable is terminated inside the connector, power runs through the track's internal rails, allowing spotlights and pendants to be added anywhere along the track length. The 18mm projection from the track keeps the connector compact and visually recessive.

The polycarbonate body is rated IP20 for dry indoor use and carries a 5-year warranty. The connector fits standard Luxeon single-circuit tracks and is typically positioned near the ceiling rose or junction box that supplies the circuit. Installation requires a qualified electrician to connect the mains cable safely and ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
