Description

This is a black cover for our Luxeon slim magnetic track. It is a flat strip a metre long, 18mm wide and 17mm high. Along each long side it has a narrow returned edge, so in profile it reads as a shallow channel rather than a plain flat bar. You receive the cover alone. The track and the track lights are not included, and both are sold separately. The cover carries no light source of its own, so there is no lamp to choose and nothing to dim.

It suits anyone planning a run of the slim magnetic track who wants the rail to look finished along its whole length. Lights rarely need to fill every stretch of a track. A cover lets you close a length where you have chosen not to place a light, keeping one tidy black line along the run while the lights sit only where you want them. The black finish keeps that line dark and quiet.

At 0.08KG the cover is very light, so it adds next to nothing to the run. The maker lists it as an optional accessory, which makes it an addition you choose rather than a part the track needs. Each cover is one metre long, so measure the stretches you want covered before you order, and buy as many covers as your layout needs. Wherever a light is not wanted, a cover is the tidy way to finish the track.

Frequently Asked

What does this track cover fit?

It fits the Luxeon slim magnetic track, which is sold separately. We make no claim that it fits any other track.

Are track lights included with the cover?

No. You receive the cover alone. The track lights and the track itself are both sold separately and need ordering on their own.

How long is each cover?

Each cover is one metre long, 18mm wide and 17mm high, so measure your track before deciding how many covers to order.

What colour is the cover?

The cover is black, a plain finish that keeps a run of the slim magnetic track reading as one tidy dark line.

Does the cover need a bulb or a driver?

No. The cover carries no light source and is not dimmable, so there is no lamp, bulb or driver to choose for it.

How heavy is the cover?

The cover weighs 0.08KG, so it adds very little weight to a run of the slim magnetic track.
