The Luxeon is a 9W LED track spotlight with a 96mm white cylindrical head that mounts magnetically to compatible track systems. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light through a reflector array that gives a defined beam for accent lighting, merchandise display or task lighting in retail, hospitality and residential settings. The magnetic mount allows the spotlight to be repositioned along the track without tools and removed entirely for track maintenance or reconfiguration.

Designed for commercial and residential track lighting installations, the Luxeon suits galleries, retail stores, showrooms and domestic kitchens where directed accent light is needed on artwork, products, worktops or architectural features. The spotlight head rotates 360° horizontally and tilts up to 90° vertically once mounted on the track, allowing precise beam placement. The white extruded aluminium body integrates with white ceiling finishes and minimalist interiors without visual distraction.

The 190mm track mounting bar holds the spotlight securely via magnetic attraction to the track conductor, which also carries the low-voltage feed to the LED driver housed inside the cylindrical head. The 46mm projection from the track to the face of the spotlight keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane, reducing visual clutter in rooms with low ceilings. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments only — the fitting is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens with heavy steam exposure, or outdoor use.

What track system does the Luxeon fit?

The Luxeon uses a magnetic mounting system compatible with Ideal Lux magnetic track rails. It will not fit standard three-circuit track systems from other manufacturers. Contact us to confirm compatibility with your existing track or to order matching track rail.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The 9W output is fixed at full brightness when powered on.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is suitable only for dry indoor environments with no direct water exposure. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor locations.

How is the spotlight repositioned on the track?

The magnetic mount allows the spotlight to slide along the track rail without tools. Switch off the power at the consumer unit before repositioning, grasp the spotlight body and slide it to the desired position along the rail, then switch power back on.
