Description

This is a two-metre length of our Luxeon up and down magnetic track in black. It is a tall, narrow rail with one magnetic channel along its upper face and another along its lower face. It measures two metres long, 26mm wide and 90mm tall. It carries the range's magnetic track lights, which are sold separately, so it gives no light by itself. The maker also lists the main connector, linear connectors, end caps, blind cover, suspension kit, light modules and the remote driver as not included. It is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms only.

Two channels mean one run of track can send light up across the ceiling and down onto a surface at the same time. Lights set in the top channel aim upward, while lights in the lower channel aim down. That makes it a strong choice over a long dining table, along a desk in a home office, above a reception counter or across a living room where you want a soft glow overhead and light for reading. Hung from the ceiling on the suspension kit, the black profile reads as a single clean line, and magnetic lights can be repositioned along it as the room changes.
