Description

The Luxeon is a 19W dimmable LED track spotlight with magnetic mounting for compatible track systems, finished in matt black aluminium. The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light through a faceted reflector, with beam angle control via the tilting head which adjusts through 350° rotation and 90° tilt once clipped onto the track.

Designed for galleries, retail displays, hospitality spaces and contemporary offices, the Luxeon provides accent lighting where artwork, merchandise or architectural features need highlighting without permanent ceiling mounting. The magnetic attachment clips onto the track rail and holds position through embedded magnets in the base, allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the track run without tools. Dimmer compatibility allows brightness adjustment from full output down to approximately 10%, giving control over ambient levels and reducing glare on reflective surfaces during evening hours.

The aluminium body measures 230mm in length with a 72mm projection from the track and stands 137.5mm tall when clipped in position. Internal cooling fins dissipate heat from the LED driver without requiring a fan, keeping the fitting silent during operation. The black finish is powder-coated to resist fingerprints during installation and repositioning. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments — the fitting is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installation.

Frequently Asked

What track system does the Luxeon fit?

The Luxeon uses magnetic mounting for Ideal Lux magnetic track systems. It is not compatible with standard 3-circuit or single-circuit track lighting rails. The magnetic base clips onto the dedicated track rail and is held in place by embedded magnets, allowing repositioning without tools.

Is the LED dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 19W LED dims from full output down to approximately 10% when paired with a compatible mains dimmer. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — check with the dimmer manufacturer or contact us before installation to confirm pairing.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Luxeon to dry indoor environments. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, or any location where moisture or water spray is present.

What beam angle does it provide?

The faceted reflector inside the spotlight head produces a focused beam suitable for accent lighting. The exact beam angle is not specified in the technical data, but the tilting and rotating head allows the beam to be directed onto specific features or surfaces once the spotlight is clipped onto the track.
