Description

The Luxeon is a 100W constant voltage magnetic LED driver delivering regulated 48V DC output for low-voltage LED lighting installations. The driver sits in a 297mm black metal housing with an IP20 rating for indoor use, and connects to mains via a 2000mm cable with a moulded plug. Magnetic transformers convert 230V AC to stable 48V DC without electronic switching noise, making them compatible with older dimmer systems where electronic drivers often fail.

Designed for LED strip lighting, under-cabinet installations, architectural cove lighting and commercial display cases requiring continuous 48V power, the Luxeon provides consistent output under varying mains conditions. The 100W capacity supports up to 20 metres of 5W/m LED tape or 10 metres of 10W/m tape when load is distributed evenly across the driver output. The slim 16mm projection allows mounting in tight ceiling voids, under cabinets or behind pelmet boards where depth is constrained.

The constant voltage output holds 48V steady regardless of LED load variation, preventing brightness fluctuations as different sections of tape are switched on or off. The black metal housing dissipates heat passively without fans, making the driver silent in operation.
