Description

The Luxeon-1 is a recessed track end power cap finished in matt black metal, measuring 83mm in length with a 30mm projection from the ceiling plane. The component caps the termination point of an Ideal Lux Luxeon recessed track system and houses the mains power connection, feeding electricity into the track from a ceiling-mounted junction box.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery and hospitality lighting installations where the track itself is recessed into the ceiling plasterwork, the power cap sits flush with the ceiling line once installed. The perforated mounting plate visible in the image fixes to the track rail and provides the structural anchor for the power feed assembly. The circular aperture on the vertical face accepts the mains cable gland.

The matt black powder-coated metal finish matches the Luxeon track system's own black rail colour, maintaining a monochrome appearance across the entire track run. The perforations in the mounting plate aid heat dissipation around the electrical connection point. Installation requires the track to be cut to length, the power cap fitted to one end, and the mains supply wired through the aperture before the track is recessed into the ceiling void.
