Description

The Luxeon-1 is an end power cap for 3-phase track lighting systems, moulded from black polycarbonate with a single oval aperture for live conductor access. The cap measures 26mm in length and projects 52mm from the track end, enclosing the live rails and preventing dust ingress into the track channel.

Designed for completing 3-phase track installations in commercial and residential settings, the cap clips into the track profile without tools, securing the conductors at the powered end of the track run. The black finish matches standard black track systems from Ideal Lux and other manufacturers using the universal 3-phase profile, maintaining visual continuity across ceiling-mounted or surface-mounted track layouts.

The polycarbonate construction provides impact resistance and dimensional stability across typical indoor temperature ranges, with the material rated for continuous exposure to heat from adjacent track fittings. The oval aperture allows the power feed cable to pass through while the cap shields the exposed rail ends from accidental contact. The 5-year warranty covers material defects and mechanical failure under normal installation conditions.

Frequently Asked

Is this compatible with all 3-phase track systems?

The Luxeon-1 fits the universal 3-phase track profile used by Ideal Lux and most other manufacturers producing 3-phase track lighting components. Compatibility with non-standard profiles should be confirmed before ordering.

Does it fit the dead end or the powered end of the track?

This is an end power cap, meaning it's designed for the powered end of the track where the mains feed enters. The oval aperture allows the power cable to pass through. For unpowered track ends, a standard end cap without an aperture is used instead.

How is it fitted?

The cap clips directly into the track profile without requiring tools or screws. The track must be de-energised before fitting, and the power feed cable is passed through the aperture before the cap is pressed into position at the track end.
