Description
The Lupa is an 820mm curved linear suspension light carrying four frosted white glass shades along a polished chrome arc. Each shade houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) and the telescopic cable system allows the drop to be adjusted between 570mm and 850mm during installation, making the fitting adaptable to ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.9m.
Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living spaces, the Lupa pairs directional task lighting with ambient glow. The frosted glass diffuses the light from each G9 bulb across the curved chrome frame, reducing glare while maintaining brightness across the fitting's 820mm span. The curved arc positions the four shades in a gentle wave formation rather than a straight line, creating visual movement above a table or worktop.
The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light from the room, adding brightness during the day and creating a mirror effect when the fitting is lit at night. The telescopic cable system uses a spring-loaded mechanism inside the canopy, allowing each of the two cables to be set to different lengths if the ceiling has a slight slope. The four frosted glass shades are quarter-dome forms that direct light both downwards and outwards, giving useful spread across a 1.6-2m table width.
The Lupa is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The fitting carries a 2.9kg weight and requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 5kg to allow for dynamic load during installation.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Lupa take?
The fitting takes four G9 capsule bulbs with a maximum combined load of 160W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with four G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W each at 2700K-3000K for warm white light over a dining table or kitchen island.
Is the Lupa dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and connected to a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Check the bulb packaging to confirm dimmer compatibility before installation.
What size table or island does it suit?
The 820mm span and four-shade layout work well above tables or islands between 1.6m and 2m wide. For longer islands above 2.2m, consider pairing two Lupa fittings end-to-end or choosing a longer linear suspension with more shades.
How is the drop adjusted?
The telescopic system uses a spring-loaded mechanism inside the ceiling canopy. Each of the two cables can be set independently between 570mm and 850mm during installation by pulling the cable to the desired length and locking it in place. This allows the fitting to be levelled even on ceilings with a slight slope.
