The Lunas is a 250mm dual-mount LED light fitting for wall or flush ceiling installation, built around a white metal frame of overlapping circles paired with a crystalized diffuser. An integrated 14W LED behind the diffuser casts 720 lumens of 3000K warm white light, creating a soft sparkle effect through the textured surface.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms (if ceiling height allows above Zone 2), and living spaces with low ceilings below 2.4m, the Lunas sits 80mm proud of the mounting surface when flush-fitted. The overlapping circle geometry provides visual interest without requiring depth or drop, making it a practical choice where traditional pendant lights would hang too low. The white finish integrates cleanly into light-coloured or neutral interiors without adding contrasting metallic accents.

The crystalized diffuser scatters light evenly across the circle faces, softening the LED point sources and reducing glare when viewed at an angle. At 0.9kg fitted weight, the Lunas mounts securely to standard ceiling joists or cavity wall fixings without needing additional support. The 100-240V input voltage allows international use with appropriate plug adapters, though the fitting itself has no external plug and requires direct mains wiring on installation.

Mantra manufactures the Lunas in Spain. The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use at 3000K, after which the entire fitting would need replacement. The fitting is not dimmable.

The Lunas carries no stated IP rating in the specification, so it should only be used in bathrooms if mounted on the ceiling outside Zone 1 and Zone 2, typically 2.25m or more from the shower or bath edge. Check current bathroom zone regulations before installation.

What's the difference between wall and ceiling mounting?

The fitting is identical in both configurations. When ceiling-mounted it sits flush against the surface with the circles facing downward. When wall-mounted the circles face outward into the room. The 80mm projection from the wall is the same as the height when ceiling-mounted.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 80mm total height when flush-mounted, the Lunas is designed specifically for rooms where pendant lights would hang too low. It works well in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m to 2.4m where a traditional pendant would reduce headroom.
