Description

The Lunas is a 79.5cm LED suspension light built from nine interconnected circular rings in matte white, each housing integrated LEDs behind a crystallised diffuser. The rings are arranged in a layered constellation that suspends from three cables, creating a geometric sculpture that functions as both ambient and architectural lighting. The combined 76W LED output delivers 3700 lumens at 3000K warm white.

Designed for dining areas, kitchen islands and double-height entrance halls, the Lunas provides distributed light across a wide area without a single central glare point. The suspension cables are adjustable between 400mm and 1600mm drop, allowing the fitting to be positioned 600-800mm above a dining table in standard-height rooms or hung lower in spaces with higher ceilings. The RF remote control (included) dims the LEDs smoothly from full brightness to a low-level glow, with no separate wall dimmer required.

Each of the nine rings measures approximately 170-200mm in diameter and sits at a different height within the overall assembly, giving the composition depth when viewed from the side. The crystallised diffuser panel on each ring scatters the LED light, softening the output and preventing direct LED glare when walking beneath the fitting. The matte white finish reflects ambient daylight during the day and pairs comfortably with white, grey and pale wood interiors. At 5.2kg, the fitting requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting this weight plus the cable tension.

Is the Lunas dimmable without a wall dimmer?

Yes. The Lunas includes an RF remote control that dims the integrated LED from full brightness to a low-level glow. No separate wall dimmer is required — the fitting connects to a standard switched mains supply and the dimming is controlled entirely by the remote.

What size dining table does it suit?

The 79.5cm diameter suits dining tables between 160-220cm long and kitchen islands of similar length. For smaller tables (120-140cm), the fitting may visually dominate the space. For tables over 240cm, consider pairing two Lunas fittings or choosing a larger suspension light.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The drop is set during installation by adjusting the cable length at the ceiling canopy. Once installed, the cables are typically concealed inside the canopy, so changing the drop height later requires partial dismantling of the fitting. Set the desired drop during initial fitting.

How is the white finish maintained?

The matte white powder-coated metal and acrylic diffuser panels attract dust over time. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth when the fitting is switched off and cool. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the LED housing and do not use household sprays or abrasive cleaners.
