Description

The Lunar is a 220mm outdoor wall light with a black painted die-cast aluminium body and a downward-facing satin Pyrex glass diffuser. A single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) sits inside the aluminium housing and casts light down through the glass panel, creating a pool of illumination on the ground or wall below. The IP55 rating provides protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it suitable for UK outdoor use on house walls, porch entrances, garden paths and courtyard perimeters.

Designed for wall mounting at heights between 1.8m and 2.4m, the Lunar directs its output downward rather than outward, which reduces light spill into neighbouring properties and minimises upward light pollution. The 85mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact and reduces the risk of knocks on narrow pathways or tight entrance areas. The satin-finish Pyrex glass softens the beam spread and prevents harsh glare when viewed from below.

The die-cast aluminium body is powder-coated in a deep matt black that resists fading and corrosion under prolonged exposure to rain, frost and UV. The black finish integrates cleanly with anthracite cladding, charcoal render, dark brick and contemporary timber exteriors. The fitting accepts any standard E27 bulb up to 60W equivalent, allowing you to choose between warm white (2700K) for residential settings or cool white (4000K) for higher-visibility commercial or security applications.
