Description

The Luna is a 200mm alabaster disc pendant light built around a circular slab of natural Spanish alabaster, edged by a solid copper rim finished in brushed brass. An integrated 8W LED sits behind the disc and casts warm 3000K light through the stone, so the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser. A brushed brass hinge at the top of the disc connects to a slender suspension cable in the same finish.

Designed as a compact accent pendant, the Luna suits bedside positions over nightstands, narrow hallways, cloakrooms, and spaces alongside larger feature lights where a smaller drop is needed. The 200mm diameter keeps the visual footprint small enough to hang in pairs or rows over a kitchen island or breakfast bar without crowding the line of sight. The cable length is adjustable on installation to set the drop height appropriate to the room.

Each alabaster disc is cut from a single block of natural stone, so the veining, clouding and tonal shifts vary between individual pieces. When lit, the differing thickness across the disc reveals the internal mineral structure, with brighter and softer zones following the natural grain of the stone. The brushed brass rim traces the full circumference and meets the hinge fitting cleanly at the top, giving the pendant a defined geometric outline against the soft translucency of the alabaster.

Yes. The Luna uses an integrated 8W LED rated at 3000K (warm white) on 230V mains. There is no separate bulb to fit or replace.

Does each alabaster disc look the same?

No. Each disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, clouding and tonal variation differ between pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and the variation becomes more visible when the light is on.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
