Description

The Luna is a 660mm diameter crystal chandelier with six E14 bulb holders mounted on a black chrome scrolled frame, surrounded by cascading clear and smoked Asfour crystal droplets. A central column of dual-coloured crystals runs vertically through the structure, anchoring the composition and splitting the light into both clear refractions and darker contrasts. The black chrome metalwork provides a darker, cooler alternative to traditional brass or polished chrome chandeliers.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Luna's adjustable chain drop ranges from 720mm minimum to 1720mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be hung at different heights depending on room proportions. The chandelier accepts six candle-style E14 bulbs up to 60W each (bulbs sold separately), and is fully dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer switch. The black chrome finish coordinates with contemporary grey, charcoal and monochrome interiors.

Each crystal droplet is cut Asfour crystal from the Czech tradition, chosen for higher refractive index than standard acrylic or glass substitutes. The mix of clear and smoked crystals gives the chandelier a layered appearance when unlit and a contrast of bright and muted reflections when illuminated. The 5.5kg weight requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling plate rated for the load. Optional clip-on fabric shades (sold separately) can be added to each candle holder to soften direct glare if the chandelier is hung below typical eye-line height.

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and connected to a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker on a dimmer circuit.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes six E14 candle-style bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional chandelier glow.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 720mm plus the 660mm chandelier height gives a total of approximately 1380mm from ceiling to lowest crystal. For a dining table installation with the chandelier hung 750-850mm above the table surface, a ceiling height of 2.7m or above is recommended.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chain can be shortened during installation by removing links and securing the excess chain inside the ceiling canopy. Once installed, the drop is fixed unless the chandelier is taken down and re-hung.
