Description

The Luna is a 130mm frosted glass globe pendant designed for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system, with an integrated 5W LED that offers adjustable colour temperature from warm 3000K to cool 6000K. The glass globe sits on a black suspension cable that clips magnetically onto the track rail, allowing the pendant to be repositioned along the track without re-wiring.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and living spaces using track lighting rather than fixed ceiling roses, the Luna combines ambient and task lighting in one fitting. The adjustable CCT function allows you to shift from warm white for evening dining to cooler daylight tones for daytime food preparation or reading, controlled via the smart dimming system. The pendant height is adjustable from a minimum 130mm to a maximum 1130mm, allowing the globe to be set close to the track for low ceilings or dropped down for dining table illumination.

The frosted glass diffuses the LED evenly across the 130mm sphere, eliminating visible hotspots and providing soft, glare-free light in all directions. The black finish on the cable and magnetic connector pairs with the black track rail to create a continuous dark line across the ceiling, keeping attention on the illuminated glass rather than the hardware. The magnetic attachment mechanism means the pendant can be moved or removed entirely for redecorating without touching any wiring. The DC 48V system requires a compatible Maytoni Exility track and power supply (sold separately).

What is the Magnetic Exility track system?

The Magnetic Exility system is Maytoni's low-voltage magnetic track platform. Pendants, spotlights and linear fittings clip magnetically onto a DC 48V track rail and can be repositioned or removed without touching any wiring. The Luna pendant requires a compatible Exility track and power supply, which are sold separately.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The Luna features smart CCT control, allowing you to shift the colour temperature from 3000K (warm white) to 6000K (cool daylight) and any point in between. Control is typically via a remote or app provided with the track system — see the product manual for full details.

Is the Luna dimmable?

Yes. The integrated 5W LED is dimmable via the smart control system that operates the Exility track. Dimming and CCT adjustment are both controlled through the same interface.

Can I use this on a standard ceiling rose?

No. The Luna is designed exclusively for the Magnetic Exility track system and operates on DC 48V. It cannot be fitted to a standard UK mains ceiling rose or pendant cable. The track rail and power supply must be installed first.
