Description

The Lucida is a 3 light semi flush ceiling fitting with three adjustable black metal arms, each ending in a white blown glass globe. The arms radiate from a central black metal ceiling rose and can be angled during installation to direct light towards different zones of the room. Each globe houses a single G9 halogen or LED bulb (sold separately).

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m where a pendant would hang too low, the Lucida projects 600mm from the ceiling and spans 500mm across, making it suitable for bedrooms, hallways, home offices and dining areas up to 4m square. The semi flush mount keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the articulated arms allow each light source to be positioned independently, giving more directional control than a fixed flush mount.

The matt black powder-coated metal frame contrasts with the white blown glass diffusers, which scatter and soften the light from the G9 bulbs to reduce glare. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing the light level to be adjusted from bright task lighting to low ambient. The black finish pairs with both industrial interiors and contemporary minimalist schemes.

Ideal Lux manufactures the Lucida in Italy and backs it with a 5 year warranty. The IP20 rating confirms it for indoor dry locations only.

The arms are articulated and can be angled during installation to direct light where needed. Once tightened they hold position but are not designed for frequent adjustment after fitting.
