Description

The Lucent is a 97mm square surface-mounted LED downlight built from aluminium with a matt black powder-coated finish. An integrated 25W LED behind a precision lens casts directional 3000K warm white light from a ceiling-mounted box, making this a functional fitting for spaces where recessed downlights cannot be installed or where surface-mount aesthetics are preferred.

Designed for hallways, commercial lobbies, retail corridors and residential rooms with concrete ceilings or shallow ceiling voids, the Lucent mounts directly onto the ceiling surface without requiring a cut-out. The 97mm footprint keeps the visual presence minimal while the 25W output provides task-level illumination over desks, counters or walkways. The fitting is rated IP20 for dry interior use only and is not dimmable.

The matt black finish sits flat against dark ceilings or provides contrast against white plasterwork, and the aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at under 500g. The plastic diffuser inside the housing evens out the LED output to reduce hotspots and glare when viewed from typical standing or seated positions. The fixed downward beam angle makes the Lucent suitable for general downlighting tasks rather than accent or feature lighting.
