Description

The Lua Linear is a 960mm-wide island chandelier with four E27 fittings distributed across two horizontal arms, finished in ash grey metal with matching ash grey fabric drum shades. The two arms extend symmetrically from a central vertical stem suspended on chain, each arm terminating in two shades that sit at equal height when the fitting is levelled on installation.

Designed for positioning above kitchen islands, dining tables and long workbenches where linear rather than radial light distribution is needed, the Lua Linear spreads four sources of light across a metre-wide span. The adjustable drop from 650mm to 1500mm allows the fitting to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or 800-900mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The chain conceals the cable run and the grey metal canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The ash grey finish on both frame and shades creates tonal continuity without pattern or visual interruption, making the fitting sit neutrally in grey, white and taupe interiors. The drum shades diffuse light horizontally through the fabric while directing a proportion downward through the open bottom, giving the fitting both ambient and task-lighting function. At 2.7kg the fitting needs a secure ceiling fixing capable of handling the combined weight of frame, shades and four E27 bulbs.
