Description

The Louvre is a single pendant light built around a graphite-finished metal frame with horizontal clear glass slats running across all four sides. The frame measures 250mm square and 386mm tall, suspended on a graphite chain from a matching rectangular ceiling canopy. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits at the centre of the frame, visible through the glass slats.

Designed for installation over dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Louvre works best with vintage-style filament bulbs that make the internal bulb part of the visual composition rather than hiding it. The horizontal glass slats diffuse light sideways while allowing direct light downwards, creating both ambient fill and focused task light below. The 1500mm chain length is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to hang anywhere from 475mm to 2003mm below the ceiling rose.

The graphite finish is a dark grey-black metal coating with a subtle brushed texture that reduces fingerprints and sits comfortably in both industrial and contemporary interiors. The clear glass slats are set at even intervals around the frame, creating a louvred effect that breaks up the light path without blocking it entirely. The combined metal frame and glass construction gives the fitting a substantial presence without making it visually heavy, and the open framework means the pendant does not dominate the space when viewed from the side.
