Description
The Lotus is a 1.24m tall outdoor LED wall light in white powder-coated aluminium, housing an integrated 18W LED strip that delivers 1900 lumens of warm 3000K light through a frosted acrylic diffuser. The fitting projects just 50mm from the wall and spans 54mm wide, creating a slim vertical bar of light along exterior walls.
Designed for pathways, porches, patios and building facades where vertical wall-mounted lighting is needed, the Lotus provides both ambient wash light and architectural accent. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for exposed exterior positions in UK weather. The fitting mounts via a rear plate that fixes to standard outdoor junction boxes, with cable entry from the back.
The white powder-coat finish pairs with white render, painted timber cladding and light-toned stone or brick. The 120-degree beam angle casts light both upward and downward along the wall, creating a halo effect behind the bar itself while also illuminating the ground and wall surface within approximately 1-2m of the fitting. The frosted diffuser softens the LED strip into continuous light rather than visible individual diodes.
The integrated LED runs at 18W on 220-240V mains and is not dimmable. Mantra backs the fitting with a three-year warranty covering electrical and housing components. The 1.72kg weight requires secure fixing into masonry, brick or timber studs rather than plasterboard alone.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP54 rating mean for outdoor use?
IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. It can be installed in exposed exterior positions including under eaves, on porch walls, and on open facades where it may be rained on directly. It is not submersible or suitable for ground burial.
Is the Lotus dimmable?
No. The integrated 18W LED runs at full brightness on standard 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches or control systems.
How much light does 1900 lumens provide?
1900 lumens is comparable to a traditional 150W incandescent bulb. The 120-degree beam angle spreads this across approximately 1-2m of wall and ground around the fitting, providing enough light to illuminate a pathway, porch or entrance clearly without creating harsh pools of light.
What fixing is required?
The 1.72kg weight requires secure fixing into masonry, brick or timber studs using appropriate wall plugs and screws. The rear mounting plate covers a standard outdoor junction box, with cable entry from behind the fitting.
