The Losessa is a slim floor lamp in black and gold: a steel tube 137cm tall and only 6cm across, standing on a round base 18.5cm across. The outside is black, and a long angled opening down the tube reveals a gold inner surface, so the gold shows as a warm stripe whenever the lamp is lit. It takes a single GU10 bulb rated at 4.5W and 345 lumens, a gentle level of light that suits mood lighting more than close reading. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Its narrow build is the reason to choose it. With a column only 6cm across and a base of 18.5cm, it fits the corner beside an armchair, the end of a sofa or the gap between a bookcase and a window, where a lamp with a wide shade would crowd the room.
