Description

The Los 176 is a 130mm square wall light in matt gold aluminium, combining a flush-mounted backplate with an adjustable reading arm and twin USB charging ports. The backplate houses an integrated LED strip that casts light up and down the wall as ambient wash, while the cylindrical arm pivots on a ball joint to direct focused reading light wherever needed. Both light sources run on integrated 9W 3000K LEDs, giving warm white light at a combined output.

Designed for bedside installation in hotels, guest rooms and master bedrooms, the Los 176 replaces the need for a separate reading light and bedside USB charger. The two USB ports sit flush in the square backplate, positioned to charge phones and tablets overnight without trailing cables across a bedside table. The reading arm adjusts through approximately 180 degrees of horizontal sweep and 45 degrees of vertical tilt, allowing light to be aimed at a pillow, a book held in bed, or over the shoulder of someone sitting upright.

The matt gold finish on the aluminium body softens reflections and pairs with warm-toned textiles, dark timber and brass hardware in both contemporary and transitional bedrooms. The 65mm projection from the wall keeps the backplate close to the surface, while the reading arm extends approximately 100mm when angled outward. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry interior locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms or wet rooms.

The Los 176 is part of Maytoni's modular bedside lighting range, which includes matching versions in matt black, polished chrome and brushed nickel. Installation requires connection to mains AC 220-240V via a junction box behind the backplate, with the USB ports drawing from the same circuit. A 3-year manufacturer warranty covers the integrated LED modules and the USB charging circuitry.

Product Manual

Frequently Asked

Can the reading arm be switched separately from the backlight?

The specification does not confirm independent switching. Typical installations of this style provide a single wall switch controlling both the backlight and reading arm together. Check the product manual or contact us to confirm switching options for this model.

What is the USB charging output?

Maytoni bedside lights with integrated USB ports typically provide 5V output suitable for charging phones, tablets and small electronics. The exact amperage is not listed in the specification — see the Downloads tab for the product manual or contact us for confirmation.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED modules are integrated and not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty covering LED failure. Typical LED lifespan for integrated modules in this category is 25,000-30,000 hours.

What other finishes are available?

The Los 176 is produced in matt black, polished chrome and brushed nickel as well as this matt gold version. Use the search function or contact us to check current stock availability of other finishes.
