Description

Four clear shades hang in a row from a slim polished chrome bar, each one a slender curved trapezium that narrows as it falls. End to end the bar runs 1.2m, so the fitting reads as a line rather than a cluster, and the drop is adjustable across a generous span, from tucked up near the ceiling to hanging low over a table. Clear shades leave the lamp on show, which makes your choice of lamp part of the look.

This is one we reach for over a long dining table, a kitchen island or a run of worktop, where a row of light does more than a lone pendant overhead. It also suits the middle of a narrow room, a breakfast bar or a long console. Each holder takes up to 20W, and the fitting will dim where suitable lamps are paired with a compatible dimmer. We would fit LED filament lamps here, since the shape and warmth of the lamp read straight through the clear shade.

The metalwork is finished in polished chrome, bright and reflective, with the clear shades set beneath in a straight line. To keep it sharp, switch off at the wall, let everything cool, then run a soft dry cloth over the shades and a barely damp one across the chrome, drying as you go. It carries a one year warranty. It is made for dry rooms indoors, away from steam and splashes. The same slim curved trapezium shade appears elsewhere in the range on a small round flush fitting, in polished chrome and in antique gold, so a hallway or landing can be matched to the dining room without much effort. Lamps are not included.
