Description
Three slim curved trapezium shades hang in a row beneath a straight antique gold bar, each shade finished in chrome so the light bounces off the surface rather than passing through it. The bar runs 850mm end to end and the shades themselves are narrow, which keeps a fitting of this length looking easy overhead. Every shade takes an E27 lamp of up to 20W, and the drop adjusts, so the row can sit close to the ceiling or come down low over a surface.
A linear shape like this earns its keep over anything long and narrow: a kitchen island, a run of worktop, a slim dining table, or a hall table with a mirror behind it. We reach for it where a row of separate pendants would mean several ceiling points and a lot of measuring, since the spacing here is already settled for you. It suits rooms that already have some brightwork in play, taps and handles and the like, and warm white lamps let the gold read properly rather than going grey. Dimming is possible with suitable lamps and a compatible dimmer, bought separately.
The finishes do the work: antique gold on the bar and the suspension, chrome across the shades, both warm enough in tone to sit together without competing. Wipe the shades with a dry microfibre cloth when they lose their shine, and keep polishes and sprays well away from the lampholders. Dry indoor rooms suit it, so kitchens, dining rooms and hallways rather than anywhere steamy. It carries a one year warranty. The same shades appear elsewhere in the range on flush fittings, in polished chrome as well as antique gold, and with amber, smoke, opal and iridescent glass if you would rather the light came through the shade instead of glancing off it. Lamps are not included.

Frequently Asked
How far down does it hang?
The drop adjusts from 270mm at its shortest to 2270mm at its longest, so it can sit tight under a low ceiling or drop well down over an island.
What size is the fitting overall?
The bar is 850mm long and only 80mm wide, which is why it works so well over narrow runs such as a worktop or a slim table.
Which lamps should I buy?
It takes three E27 lamps, up to 20W each. LED is the sensible choice here, and a warm white flatters the antique gold.
Can I put it on a dimmer?
Yes, with dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer module. Neither the lamps nor the dimmer come with the fitting.
How do I keep the chrome looking right?
Dust it with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive creams and spray cleaners, which can mark the plating and should never reach the lampholders.
Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. It is rated for dry interior rooms only, so keep it to kitchens, dining rooms, hallways and living spaces.
