Description
Three opal shades hang beneath a round antique gold plate, and each drop is adjustable, so you can set them level or step them down in sequence. The plate measures 40cm across, which spaces the shades apart without letting the cluster sprawl. Opal spreads the light from an E27 lamp evenly instead of throwing a bright point straight down, and the gold above each shade catches a little of that glow. With suitable lamps and a dimmer added, the pendant will dim.
We would fit this over a dining table or a kitchen island, where a single pendant tends to look lost and a row of separate fittings asks for more ceiling than most rooms can give. The generous adjustment also suits a stairwell or a hallway with height to fill, since the shades can be taken well below the ceiling line or brought up close to it. It is one we suggest for anyone who wants warm metal and soft light without a heavy frame overhead, and it looks as settled in a period dining room as it does in a plainer new build.
The antique gold finish is warm and slightly aged rather than bright, so it sits comfortably alongside brass taps, timber and older woodwork. To clean, isolate the supply, wait for the lamps to lose their heat, then take a soft cloth over the shades and a dry one to the metal; nothing abrasive, and no sprays near the lampholders. The fitting belongs in indoor rooms that stay dry, wired to a household circuit with an earth connection. It carries a one year warranty. Across the wider Lori range we also stock single light flush fittings, in this antique gold and in polished chrome, with globe, trapezium and wine shaped shades. Lamps are not included.

Frequently Asked
How far down will it hang?
The drop adjusts from 270mm at its shortest to 2270mm at its longest, measured from the ceiling, so it covers everything from a low kitchen ceiling to a tall stairwell.
What lamps does it take?
Three E27 lamps, each up to 20W. We would choose LED, and the lamp shape is worth matching to the shade so nothing sits proud of the opal.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, with dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer, neither of which is supplied with the fitting.
How wide is the ceiling plate?
The round plate is 400mm in diameter, and the three shades are spaced around it.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 3.8kg complete, before lamps.
How should the opal shades be cleaned?
Switch off at the wall and let the lamps cool, then wipe the shades with a soft cloth, very lightly dampened if there is kitchen film on them, and dry them before you switch back on.
