Description

The Lofoten is a 230mm cube pedestal light built from electro-galvanised steel powder-coated in matt black, with four clear safety glass panels forming the sides and a solid steel top. A single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the cube, with light escaping through the glass on all four sides. The pedestal sits on a 230 x 230mm base plate that fixes to ground-level paving, timber decking or low-rise walls.

Designed for pathways, patio edges, driveway entrances and garden borders where ground-level accent lighting is needed, the Lofoten provides 360-degree light distribution at ankle height. The IP44 rating protects the fitting from dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for open-air UK installation where it will face rain and occasional hosing. The 270mm height sits low enough to avoid glare at eye level when standing, while still projecting light across a 2-3m radius when paired with a warm-white LED bulb.

The steel frame is welded at the corners and the powder coating is applied after galvanising, giving corrosion resistance in coastal and damp environments. The clear glass panels are removable for bulb replacement and cleaning. The cube proportions suit modern, industrial and Scandinavian-inspired exteriors, and the matt black finish recedes visually during daylight while the frame structure remains distinct.
