Description

The Loewe is a 5 light chandelier built around a polished chrome frame with curved arms extending from a central bubbled glass sphere. Each arm holds a cream organza shade over an E14 bulb (sold separately), and the clear bubbled glass detailing sits at the junction of the arms, acting as both structural accent and light-catching element. The polished chrome reflects room light and amplifies the output from the five bulbs.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the 660mm diameter suits tables or floor areas of 2-3m width. The drop is adjustable between 740mm minimum and 2240mm maximum on installation, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or lowered further in double-height spaces. The cream organza shades diffuse light without blocking it completely, creating ambient rather than directional illumination.

The curved chrome arms give the fitting a fluid, organic form that contrasts with the geometric simplicity of the cylindrical shades. The bubbled glass pieces add visual weight at the centre, balancing the spread of the arms. At 7.4kg the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or appropriate fixing plate. The weight distribution across five arms means the structure remains stable once hung. The chandelier takes five E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining or living room lighting. The maximum wattage per bulb depends on the bulb type. Check the packaging for heat output limits.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself has no built-in dimming electronics. Dimmer compatibility is determined by the bulbs you choose.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 740mm minimum drop means the chandelier works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above when hung over a dining table. For entrance halls or double-height spaces, the drop extends to 2240mm maximum, allowing the fitting to be lowered into the sight line.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chain or cable is adjusted on installation by shortening or lengthening the suspension before final fixing. Once installed, the drop cannot be changed without re-fitting the chandelier.
