Description

The Loewe is a 5-light chandelier built on curved antique brass arms radiating from a central column, with cut crystal clusters at the centre and below each lamp holder. Five cream organza drum shades sit over E14 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately), diffusing light from the curved brass frame. The 500mm diameter suits dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms with a 2.4m or higher ceiling.

The chandelier's drop adjusts between 740mm and 2240mm on installation via the chain mechanism, allowing it to be set at dining-table height (700-800mm above the surface) or higher for ambient room lighting. The antique brass finish shows a warm, slightly aged patina that pairs with traditional oak, walnut and mahogany furniture as well as warmer-toned contemporary interiors. The cream organza shades are translucent rather than opaque, so the bulb glow shows through the fabric while the shade itself softens the light spread.

The cut crystal clusters at the centre and on each arm add decorative weight without the full cascade of a traditional crystal chandelier. The effect is closer to accent detail than centrepiece. Each cluster refracts light when the chandelier is lit, casting small prismatic highlights onto nearby walls and ceilings.
