Description

The Loewe is a 550mm diameter pendant light with three E27 bulb fittings housed behind pleated cream organza shades, suspended from a polished chrome canopy and adjustable cable. The three shades sit at equal spacing around the centre column, each with fine vertical pleating that diffuses light outwards while the chrome structure anchors the form. Bulbs are sold separately, allowing choice of LED, halogen or filament E27 lamps up to the rated wattage.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centres with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Loewe provides ambient light through the translucent organza weave rather than direct downlight. The drop adjusts between 600mm and 2000mm on installation, setting the pendant 700-900mm above a dining table or 1200-1500mm in a double-height space depending on the ceiling. The polished chrome finish reflects natural daylight and pairs with both warm-toned and cool-toned interiors.

The cream organza shades soften the chrome frame and filter the light into a warm glow that suits evening use. The 4.1kg weight gives the pendant substance without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings in typical plasterboard-and-joist construction. The pleated fabric is hand-assembled and shows slight variation in the fold spacing between individual shades, characteristic of textile construction rather than defect. Dimmable when paired with dimmable E27 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer.
