Description

The Loewe is a 550mm diameter flush ceiling light, combining an antique brass metal frame with a pleated soft bronze fabric shade and a central bubbled glass disc. Three E27 bulb holders sit beneath the shade, with the fabric diffusing light downwards and outwards while the central glass detail adds a decorative focal point visible from below.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m, the Loewe works where a low-profile fitting is required but a plain flush disc would feel too minimal. The 250mm drop from ceiling to shade base gives enough visual presence to anchor a seating area or bed without encroaching on head clearance. The pleated bronze fabric softens the light output, making the fitting suitable for ambient rather than task lighting. Pair it with table lamps or floor lamps where reading light is needed.

The antique brass finish on the arms and central mount shows a warm, slightly tarnished tone that pairs with oak, walnut and other warm-toned timber furniture. The soft bronze shade fabric reads as a muted taupe-bronze under daylight and warms further under incandescent-style LED bulbs at 2700K. Is it suitable for low ceilings?
