Loewe 3 Light Flush Ceiling Light - Antique Brass With Cream Shade

The Loewe is a 550mm flush ceiling light combining three E27 bulb fittings with an antique brass frame, a central bubbled glass diffuser and a cream organza shade. The flush mounting profile sits 250mm from ceiling to shade base, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms where both ambient and decorative lighting are needed, the Loewe's three-arm structure divides the light across the shade diameter to reduce hot spots. The bubbled glass centre sits at the base of the shade and catches direct bulb light, scattering it through the bubbled texture before it reaches the organza outer. The organza itself is woven in a fine stripe texture that diffuses the light further, giving a soft warm glow across the ceiling and upper walls.

The antique brass finish on the frame and central mounting post has a warm golden tone with slight darkening in recesses, giving it the appearance of aged brass without heavy patina. This pairs naturally with warm-toned wood furniture, terracotta, ochre and cream wall colours. The cream organza shade provides a neutral backdrop that works in both traditional interiors and contemporary rooms using natural materials and warm metallics. At 3kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or ceiling support rather than plasterboard alone.

The three E27 sockets accept standard Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately). Using three warm-white LED bulbs at 2700K-3000K and 6-10W each provides sufficient ambient light for a room up to 15-18m². The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing the light level to be adjusted for evening use or when ambient lighting alone is preferred.

Can the Loewe be dimmed?

Yes, if paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but requires both the bulbs and the wall dimmer to be compatible with each other.

How is the shade cleaned?

The cream organza shade can be dusted with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. For deeper cleaning, the shade can be removed from the frame and hand-washed in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, then air-dried completely before refitting. The bubbled glass centre can be wiped with a damp cloth.
