Description

The Lineal is a 915mm linear LED suspension light with a painted gold aluminium body housing an integrated 36W LED strip that produces 4550lm at 3000K warm white. The light bar measures 915mm long by 30mm wide and suspends on two adjustable cables from a matching rectangular ceiling plate, allowing the drop to be set anywhere between 90mm and 1590mm during installation.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and commercial bar areas where clean linear lighting is needed, the Lineal provides direct downward illumination across its full length without visible bulbs or fittings. The narrow 30mm profile keeps the fitting visually lightweight despite the 915mm span, making it suitable for rooms where a pendant would feel too heavy or a recessed linear track cannot be retrofitted. The 4550lm output covers approximately 2-2.5m of worktop or table length with balanced task lighting.

The painted gold finish gives a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass hardware, warm timber and neutral-toned interiors without the high reflectivity of polished brass or chrome. The aluminium body acts as the heatsink for the LED strip, keeping the fitting cool to touch during operation. At 1.3kg the suspended weight is modest enough for standard ceiling roses on plasterboard or timber joists without additional reinforcement.

Is the Lineal dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 36W output and does not support dimming. The 4550lm output at 3000K is set at manufacture and cannot be adjusted after installation.

What length dining table or island does it suit?

The 915mm light bar provides balanced coverage for dining tables or kitchen islands between 1.8-2.4m long. For longer islands or tables, two Lineal fittings can be run in parallel, spaced approximately 1m apart.

How is the drop adjusted?

The suspension cables feed through the ceiling plate and lock at the desired drop using grub screws concealed inside the plate. The drop can be set anywhere between 90mm (semi-flush) and 1590mm during installation, but cannot be adjusted afterwards without removing the ceiling plate.

Does the gold finish tarnish or scratch easily?

The painted gold finish is a powder-coated or baked enamel surface on aluminium, which is more resistant to tarnishing than raw brass. Minor scratches can occur if the fitting is knocked during cleaning, but normal handling and dusting will not mark the surface.
