Description

The Lineal is a 1.5m linear suspension light with a 1515mm x 30mm aluminium bar housing a single-run 54W LED strip emitting 6400 lumens at 3000K. The light shines downwards through a diffuser running the full length of the bar, providing continuous line-source illumination rather than discrete points. The body is finished in sand black, a textured matt black with a slight grain that softens reflections under natural light.

Designed for installation over kitchen islands, dining tables and office desks where task lighting needs to cover a linear work surface or eating area without creating shadows, the fixture suspends from two steel cables adjustable between 90mm and 1590mm drop. The slim 30mm depth keeps the light unobtrusive above eye level when seated, while the 1515mm length suits tables and islands between 1.2m and 1.8m long. The rectangular ceiling plate measures approximately 300mm x 60mm and conceals the cable entry points and driver.

The 6400-lumen output provides substantial task-level illumination across a 1.5m run — comparable to four or five pendant lights spaced along the same distance but delivered as a single continuous band. The non-dimmable driver is integrated into the ceiling canopy, so no external dimmer module is needed, simplifying installation into standard UK ceiling roses. The ceiling plate is designed for horizontal surfaces. Installation on a sloped ceiling would require a custom mounting solution to keep the light bar level, which is not covered by the manufacturer's fitting instructions or warranty.
