Lidia 40cm LED Pendant Light 12W 3000K - Coffee

The Lidia is a 40cm shallow dome pendant light finished in a matte coffee-brown powder coat, with an integrated 12W LED that casts 1500 lumens of 3000K warm white light downwards through the open base. The dome sits 400mm above a central white opal glass diffuser which houses the LED module and prevents direct view of the light source from below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars where concentrated downlight is needed without glare, the Lidia pairs a wide 400mm spread with a shallow 130mm dome height that keeps the fitting visually unobtrusive in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings. The drop is adjustable from 400mm to 1800mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 650-750mm above a table surface or countertop. The coffee finish provides a warmer alternative to black or white in mid-century, Scandinavian and wood-toned interiors.

The powder-coated metal dome reflects and redirects a portion of the LED output back down through the diffuser, concentrating light within a defined pool below the pendant rather than spilling it across the ceiling. This makes the Lidia more suited to task and feature lighting over specific surfaces than to general ambient room lighting. The non-dimmable LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use before replacement, equivalent to around 8-10 years of typical evening use.

Is the Lidia dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full brightness when switched on. If dimming is required, an alternative pendant with a dimmable driver would be needed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop of 400-1800mm allows the Lidia to work in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For a dining table, the pendant typically sits 650-750mm above the surface, which requires a ceiling height of at least 2.2m at minimum drop or 2.6m at typical drop settings.

How wide is the light pool below the pendant?

The 40cm dome concentrates 1500 lumens downwards through the central diffuser, creating a focused pool approximately 80-120cm wide on a surface 700mm below the pendant. The shallow dome design minimises light spill to the sides, making this better suited to task lighting than general ambient lighting.

Can the LED be replaced?

The integrated LED is built into the pendant and is not user-replaceable. The module is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use. After this period, the entire fitting would typically need replacement, though may offer replacement LED modules through authorised service centres.
