Description

The Libra Rustica is a 7cm diameter pillar candle in dark grey paraffin wax with a brushed steel band wrapping the base. The 19cm height gives approximately 60-80 hours of burn time depending on ambient conditions, making it suitable for extended table centrepieces, fireplace mantels and windowsill displays where the candle remains lit for several hours at a time.

The rustica finish on the wax creates a mottled, textured surface that resembles weathered stone or concrete, distinguishing it from smooth pillar candles. The dark grey tone works across both cool-toned modern interiors and warmer traditional settings, pairing well with natural wood, bare plaster and metallic accents. The steel band prevents wax drips from reaching the surface below and adds structural definition to the base.

Each candle uses a cotton-core wick engineered to maintain flame stability and reduce smoke during burning. The 100% paraffin wax composition melts evenly from the centre outward, forming a molten pool that reaches the edge of the pillar without tunneling when burned for 3-4 hours per session.
