Description

The Libra Rustica is a 7x12cm pillar candle in a dark grey rustic finish, banded with a polished steel ring at the base. The candle is made from 100% paraffin wax using traditional European moulding methods, with a cotton wick designed to burn cleanly and evenly down the centre of the pillar without excessive smoking or tunnelling.

Designed for use on dining tables, mantels, sideboards and bathroom ledges where a compact candle fits smaller spaces or groups well with other candles in a cluster. The 7cm diameter and 12cm height give approximately 30-40 hours of burn time depending on draft conditions and how long the candle is lit in each session. The steel band at the base adds decorative weight and prevents the bottom edge of the candle from appearing soft or worn before the wax is fully burned.

The rustic finish refers to the textured surface of the wax, which shows visible mottling and grain rather than a smooth polished appearance. This gives the candle a more organic, handcrafted look that pairs well with natural materials like wood, linen and stone. The dark grey tone sits between charcoal and slate, working in both warm and cool colour schemes without the starkness of pure black or the blandness of mid-grey.
