Description

The Libra is a 2 light crystal wall light with an antique brass backplate, scrolled arms and cascading crystal drops, fitted with an integrated inline switch on the cable. Two E14 candle bulbs (sold separately) sit in brass sleeves above cut-crystal sconces shaped like shallow bowls, with additional teardrop and chain crystal drops hanging from the arms and a central crystal sphere mounted on the column.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms and living rooms where traditional or classical styling is preferred, the Libra provides ambient light from two points at approximately shoulder height when wall-mounted. The integrated switch allows the light to be turned on and off without needing a separate wall switch, which is useful for retrofit installations where re-wiring is impractical or for rooms where wall switch positions are fixed elsewhere. The 210mm projection brings the light forward from the wall, allowing the crystal drops to catch light from multiple angles.

The antique brass finish has a dulled, aged patina that softens the metallic tone compared to polished brass, pairing well with warm-toned interiors, traditional furniture and other aged metal finishes. Each arm scrolls outward in an asymmetric curve, giving the fitting a hand-forged appearance rather than a symmetrical stamped-metal look. The cut-crystal drops are faceted to refract light when the bulbs are on, adding sparkle to the fixture even in daylight when the bulbs are off.

No. The Libra requires two E14 candle bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional look.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and the wall circuit is controlled by a compatible dimmer switch. The integrated inline switch on the cable is an on/off toggle only and does not provide dimming function.

How does the integrated switch work?

An inline rocker switch sits on the cable approximately 300mm from the backplate. This allows the light to be turned on and off without needing a separate wall switch, useful for retrofit installations or rooms where wall switch positions are fixed elsewhere.

How is it fitted?

The backplate mounts to a standard UK single-gang back box or directly to the wall with two screws. The cable feeds through the backplate and connects to the mains supply via a terminal block inside the fitting. Weight is 1.3kg, so the backplate must be securely fixed to the wall substrate.
