Description

The Liberty is an 80cm oval crystal glass chandelier with two horizontal tiers of vertical clear crystal prisms wrapped around a wide polished gold central band. The prisms cluster densely above and below the band, catching and refracting light from the integrated 3000K LED housed within the frame. The fitting suspends from a circular gold ceiling canopy on four fine adjustable cables.

At 80cm wide and 22cm tall the Liberty suits long dining tables, kitchen islands, hotel-style entrance halls and open-plan living and dining zones with ceilings of 2.6m or higher. The cable suspension can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier 700-800mm above a dining table or 800-900mm above a kitchen island, and the linear oval profile spreads light across an extended surface in a way a circular chandelier cannot.

The polished gold band gives the fitting its visual weight and structure, while the cut crystal prisms soften the metal with vertical sparkle. The 3000K colour temperature of the integrated LED throws a warm white light that brings out the gold tones in the band and casts refracted highlights onto walls and ceilings around the fixture. Total weight is supported by a single canopy plate fixed to a standard ceiling rose position.

What size table or island does the Liberty suit?

The 80cm oval profile works well above dining tables of 1.6-2.4m in length and kitchen islands of similar size. As a general rule the chandelier should sit roughly 30-40cm narrower than the surface below it, so an 80cm fitting balances comfortably above a 1.8-2m table.

Does it come with the LED bulb fitted?

Yes. The Liberty uses an integrated LED light source rated at 3000K (warm white), so there are no separate bulbs to purchase or replace. The LED is built into the frame and wired ready for installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The cable suspension is adjustable on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set at the height needed for the room. Ceilings of 2.6m or higher give the most comfortable visual proportion when used over a dining table or kitchen island. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the fitting if the cables are shortened during installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the wall and allow the LED to cool. Wipe each crystal prism with a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water or a glass-safe crystal cleaner. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the fitting and do not use abrasive cloths on the polished gold band.
