Made from steel, glass and PMMA, our Lemon Squeeze Single Wall Light Long brings together a slender glass tube held between plated brass fittings on a gently curved arm that reaches out from the wall. We chose these materials for their warmth and clarity, and the plated brass finish gives the fittings a soft golden tone that catches the light. At 94 x 8 x 15.2cm and weighing just 2.1kg, this is the longer of the two sizes we offer in the range, giving you a little more reach across a wall or reading nook.

This wall light is practical as well as good looking. It takes a single GU10 bulb with a maximum of 15W LED, which is not included, so you can pick the colour temperature that suits your room. It is also compatible with our Focused Idea bulb, sold separately, if you would like a more directed pool of light. Assembly takes around 20 minutes, and the fixed position of the arm means you can plan exactly where the glow will fall before you fit it. We find it works beautifully beside a bed, a sofa or a favourite armchair where you want gentle, close light.

The plated brass fittings pair naturally with warm woods, cream walls and softer greys, though they hold their own against darker, moodier schemes too. To keep the finish looking its best, we suggest wiping the brass and glass with a dry, soft cloth and avoiding harsh cleaners that might dull the plating over time. Because the glass tube is left clear rather than hidden behind a shade, the bulb itself becomes part of the look, so a decorative LED can add a little extra character. We love how this piece brings quiet, useful light to a wall without asking for too much space.
