Description
Our LED Strip Light is a long, narrow ribbon of light: 2000cm long and only 0.8cm wide, with integrated LEDs set closely along a white strip. The LEDs give a warm 2700K, the soft, golden tone most people want in a living room or bedroom after dark, rather than the cooler white of an office. Because the LEDs are built into the strip, there is no bulb to buy or change. It carries an IP20 rating, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry places, well away from water and steam.
At 0.8cm wide, the strip is slim enough to tuck along the back edge of a shelf, under a pelmet, round an alcove or behind a headboard, where the light washes across the wall while the strip itself stays out of sight. The full 2000cm gives plenty for a long run, such as a living room cornice or a row of bookcases, and it suits anyone who wants gentle background light in a lounge, bedroom, hallway or study without another lamp taking up floor or table space.
The whole strip weighs 0.32KG, so it puts almost no load on the surface it follows. There is no switch on the strip itself: it is switched at the wall, so it is controlled from the room's wall switch. The LEDs are not replaceable and no driver is part of it. Its free end finishes in a short lead with a two-pin connector. A soft, dry cloth now and then is all the care it needs to keep the light clear. Before fitting begins, it is worth reading the installation instructions, which come as a PDF download, so you know exactly what your setup needs.
