Description

This is a pack of two GU10 LED bulbs in warm white, each a compact reflector shape 5cm across and 5.4cm long. The body is glass: a clear reflector with fine ribbed facets around the sides, closed by a frosted, satin finish lens at the front that hides the bright points of the LEDs. Each bulb gives 400 lumens at a colour temperature of 3000K, the warm, slightly golden white that suits a living room or bedroom. The IP rating is IP20, which settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms, in a fitting kept well away from steam and splashes.

GU10 is the cap used by a great many ceiling spotlights, track heads, downlights and wall spots, so these suit kitchens, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms wherever a fitting takes a GU10 bulb. The reflector shape sends the light forward, ideal for picking out a worktop, a shelf or a picture, and buying them as a pair means a twin spotlight gets the same warm colour from both bulbs. Before ordering, check that your fitting has room for a bulb 5cm across and 5.4cm long, as recessed fittings vary. These bulbs are not dimmable, so they belong on an ordinary on and off switch rather than a dimmer circuit.

Each bulb runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, the ordinary mains supply in a British home, so it goes straight into a mains GU10 holder. The energy class is D, and the pack weighs 0.121KG as packed.
