Description

The Latina is a 290mm flush-mount outdoor ceiling light in white powder-coated cast aluminium with a frosted polycarbonate lens. The octagonal frame divides the lens into eight individual panels, each bordered by a raised white aluminium edge that creates a geometric lantern effect when viewed from below. A single E27 bulb inside the housing casts light through the frosted panels, diffusing it evenly across the fitting's footprint.

Designed for porches, covered entrances, carports and patio ceilings, the Latina pairs IP44 weatherproofing with coastal-environment durability. The cast aluminium body resists corrosion in salt-laden air, and the powder-coated white finish protects the metal underneath from UV degradation and moisture ingress. The 150mm projection from ceiling to base of lens keeps the fitting low-profile on ceilings as low as 2.2m without creating headroom obstruction.

The frosted polycarbonate lens is impact-resistant and remains stable across temperature ranges from -20°C to +40°C, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use in UK climates. The octagonal geometry of the lens panels gives the fitting a defined shape when unlit during daylight hours, avoiding the plain-dome appearance of simpler flush-mount outdoor lights. The white finish pairs with painted render, UPVC fascias and white-painted timber equally well.
