The Larkbury medium flush ceiling light holds a shallow dome of Tiffany-style leaded glass close against the ceiling, so the pattern reads clearly from below. Individually cut pieces of multicoloured glass are joined by soldered seams and set into a metal frame. The shade measures 400mm in diameter with a projection of 200mm, which keeps the fitting tight to the plaster. Two lamp holders sit behind the glass, each taking an E27 GLS bulb of up to 60W, and bulbs are supplied separately so you can pick the output and warmth you want.

It weighs 2.4kg, so it goes up on standard ceiling fixings without fuss, and it suits hallways, landings, dining rooms and bedrooms where a hanging pendant would sit too low. As a flush rather than semi-flush fitting it is a sensible choice above a stairwell or a bed.
