This large wicker lantern brings a warm, woven texture to the home, pairing a natural brown finish with a clear glass holder set inside. The wicker is hand-worked into a gently tapered form that catches the light and casts soft shadows once a flame is lit. Standing 40cm tall with a 29cm width and 29cm depth, it has enough presence to anchor a table or floor spot without crowding the space around it. The interior glass holder keeps the flame contained and shields it from draughts, making this a practical candle holder for everyday use.

We designed this piece to suit a variety of settings, from a hallway console to a garden room or a spot beside the fireplace. The brown wicker sits happily alongside linen, rattan and painted wood, so it works well in relaxed country and coastal schemes as well as more pared-back interiors. Group it with smaller candle holders for a layered display, or let it stand alone as a single focal point. It takes a pillar candle within the glass insert, and a battery-operated LED candle is a fine choice if you prefer to leave it lit for longer.

Wicker is naturally light yet sturdy, so the lantern is easy to move between rooms or carry outdoors on a still evening.
