Our Large Flat-Topped Pyramids 3D wall panels bring a bold geometric relief to a plain wall. Each white PVC panel is a 50 x 50cm square holding four large square pyramids, set two by two and lined up with the panel's edges. Narrow flat strips run between them and round the border, so neighbouring panels line up into a steady grid across the wall. Every pyramid rises on four wide sloping faces to a small flat square at its centre, and the relief stands 41mm deep, which gives each facet a crisp edge and a clear change of tone from one face to the next.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. They suit a feature wall behind a bed or sofa, a reception wall or the space behind a shop counter. Because the relief is deep, side light from a window or a wall light picks out the upper faces and drops the lower ones into soft grey shadow, so the pattern shifts through the day while the panels themselves stay white. To work out how many you need, four panels cover one square metre, so measure the wall's area and allow a little extra for cutting around sockets and switches.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back, press the panel onto the wall and cut panels to fit at the edges. Fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean for neat lines. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. The PVC is waterproof and low maintenance; a damp cloth is all the faces need. For styling, we like the panels across a whole wall from floor to ceiling, with plain furniture in front and a lamp to one side to bring out the shadows.
