Large Faceted Shards is a 3D wall panel in white PVC, a 50 x 50cm square filled with one bold geometric composition. Long, tapering triangular shards run along each edge and cut diagonally across the middle, many narrowing to sharp points at the top right and bottom left corners. The largest shards stretch almost the full width of the panel, so the motif repeats once on every panel and reads as a large scale pattern rather than a busy small one. Each shard is made of flat, angled facets that meet at crisp ridges, raised in a relief 32mm deep.

These 3D wall panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Fitted edge to edge, they suit a feature wall behind a bed or sofa, a reception wall in an office or hotel, or a shop wall that needs a focal point. When light falls from the side, the faceted shards cast strong, crisp shadows, and the pattern shifts through the day as daylight moves across the wall. In the evening, a wall light grazing the surface picks out every ridge, while soft, even light keeps the effect calm and quiet.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm sheet. To fit it, spread adhesive on the back and press it onto the wall; no special equipment is needed. The panels cut to fit around sockets, corners and window frames, and the joins are filled with filler and wiped clean so the wall reads as one surface. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many a wall needs. Once up, the surface wipes clean with a damp cloth and needs little maintenance. For the strongest effect, run the panels across a whole wall rather than a narrow strip, and keep furniture and frames simple so the pattern has room to show.
