The Lardaro is a clamp lamp in black, built around a flexible gooseneck arm that carries a small cylindrical head and rises from a sprung clip. The body is plastic, which keeps the whole lamp light, at 0.395KG packed. It stands 35.5cm tall, 10.3cm long and 7.6cm wide, so it asks very little of the edge it grips. The head gives 320 lumens, a focused light for a page or a keyboard rather than a whole room. It is rated IP20, which settles where it lives: indoors and dry, away from bathrooms and the garden.

Clip it to the edge of a desk or a side table and the whole surface stays free for papers, a laptop or an open book. That makes it a good answer for a student working at a narrow desk, a home office tucked into a corner, or a reader who wants light beside an armchair without finding room for a table lamp.
