Description

The Lanzo is a 49cm crystal chandelier built around four E14 lampholders enclosed by a twisted aluminium frame finished in black chrome, with multiple strands of Asfour cut crystal hanging from the lower edge. The twisted aluminium tubing wraps around the central structure in a spiral, creating a tapered basket profile that houses the four bulbs, with the crystal strands forming a decorative fringe below.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Lanzo pairs ambient light from the four bulbs with decorative refraction through the crystal strands. The adjustable drop between 380mm and 1380mm allows the chandelier to be set at 700-900mm above a dining table or lowered to hang centrally in a double-height entrance hall. The 49cm diameter suits tables between 1.2m and 1.8m, giving central overhead light without dominating the table width.

The black chrome finish on the aluminium frame provides a dark metallic surface that reflects light in a subdued mirror effect, contrasting with the transparent crystal strands. The Asfour crystal is machine-cut with facets that catch and refract light from the four E14 bulbs, producing flashes of dispersed colour across the lower edge of the chandelier. The twisted tubing adds visual density to the frame when viewed from below, breaking up the solid shape into intersecting curves. At 3.7kg the chandelier requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced rose.

Is the Lanzo dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself has no electronics that prevent dimming, so dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen and the dimmer model installed.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Lanzo takes four E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED candle or golf-ball bulbs between 4W and 6W at 2700K-3000K to match the traditional chandelier aesthetic.

What table size does it suit?

The 49cm diameter works well over dining tables between 1.2m and 1.8m in length. For larger tables above 2m, consider a larger chandelier or a pair of Lanzo fittings spaced along the table length.

How is the drop adjusted during installation?

The suspension cables can be shortened by trimming and re-terminating inside the ceiling rose during installation. The minimum practical drop of 380mm suits lower ceilings, while the full 1380mm length works in double-height entrance halls or over stairwells.
